Loh Jak is a curving strip of pale sand on the southwest coast of Koh Yao Yai, looking west towards Phuket. A long pier runs out from the southern part of the beach, and a few small resorts are set among the trees behind the shore. Rocks and shallow sandy flats become more noticeable towards the southern end.
