About this beach

Lha Bay is a small, rocky cove on the east coast of Koh Racha Yai, south of Phuket, with only a short strip of beach. It is known mainly as a snorkelling and dive spot: staghorn and other hard corals grow in the cove, with sea eels, rays, pufferfish and octopus among the marine life. The cove is usually uncrowded, and the island is reached by boat from Phuket.
