Layan Beach is a shallow bay at the northern end of Bang Tao on Phuket’s west coast, within Sirinat National Park. A small palm-covered islet just offshore shelters the bay, and nearby a river where small fishing boats moor reaches the sea. Resorts stand behind the sand, yet the area stays quiet most of the time. The beach lies at the end of a road from the Bang Tao side.
