About this beach

Laem Had is a long beach at the north-eastern tip of Koh Yao Yai, where very fine, powder-white sand is shaded by coconut palms and pine trees. At low tide a white sandbar reaches out into the sea and can be walked along, so it is worth checking tide times. The shore faces east towards the sunrise and can be reached by road or by boat; food options nearby are limited.
