About this beach

Koh Pha is a small sandbank island in Ko Kho Khao subdistrict, about 10 kilometres off the Phang Nga coast. Its name means 'cloth island', after the low strip of fine white sand that resembles fabric spread over the sea; the banks are fully exposed only at low tide. Access is by boat, coral around the shore adds interest for snorkelling, and the perimeter can also be explored by kayak.
