About this beach

Koh Khai Nai is the largest of the three small Khai islands between Phuket and Koh Yao Yai, a short speedboat ride from Phuket’s east coast. Its white-sand beach has restaurants, loungers and bars, and tour boats keep it busy. Many cats live here, hence its nickname, Cat Island. The water off the beach is shallow and gentle, though wind can raise waves on some days.
