About this beach
Koh Kaew Pisadan, also called Buddha Island, is a small island that looks heart-shaped from Promthep Cape and is reached by a short longtail ride from Rawai. A small beach on its front shore serves as the landing point. The island is known for its Buddhist monastery, large golden Buddha statues and two sacred footprints on a seaside rock, and the protected shore in front is rich in marine life.
