About this beach
Khao Saba is a natural stretch of shore north of Cape Pakarang, beside Pak Weep, where a small forested hill meets the sea. Smooth, flat, oval stones resembling the saba seeds used in an old Thai folk game lie in lines along the sand, though the sea has toppled many. Offshore rocks carry small oysters that villagers gather at low tide. Visitors come to sunbathe and take photos.
