About this beach
Khao Lak South Beach is a quiet stretch of sand in front of Ban Khao Lak village, just south of the headland that marks the southern edge of the Khao Lak area. It faces west over the Andaman Sea, with large granite rocks and tall casuarina trees along the shore and several beachfront resorts behind it. Waves can build during the southwest monsoon, so current warnings should be checked.
