About this beach

Kao Seng Beach lies about 3 km south of Samila, where Songkhla's city shore runs on from Chalatat into a small bay with a fishing village and ends at the rocky Khao Kao Seng headland. The sand is not especially white; boulders line the water's edge, and one, Hua Nai Raeng, is tied to a legend of buried treasure. Colourful kolae fishing boats are built here. Take care on the rocky sections.
