About this beach

Chalatat Beach is Songkhla's long, fairly straight city shore, running south from Laem Samila along Chalatat Road. A line of trees gives shade along its whole length, and the tail of the city's three-part Naga sculpture stands here. Midway, a municipal park has a playground among the trees; facing north-east, the beach is good for watching the sunrise. Waves can build during the monsoon.
