Ao Muong is a small, secluded cove on the southwest coast of Koh Yao Yai, tucked between two forested headlands. A narrow band of pale sand fronts a broad, shallow shelf, and there are no shops nearby. Unsigned paths lead down to it on foot from the island road, and the beach is often deserted.
