Waterloo Beach

Waterloo Beach is a sandy, low-energy shoreline at Swansea overlooking Great Oyster Bay. Its position beside Waterloo Point connects the beach with an easy coastal circuit beginning near the town centre, with broad views towards the Freycinet Peninsula and Schouten Island. A jetty car park serves the northern end, and Swansea’s town facilities are close by. The beach is unpatrolled, while its narrow shore, rocky flats, wind and tides can change the conditions for entering the water.
