Bellerive Beach
- Family friendly
Bellerive Beach is a broad sandy beach on the Derwent Estuary, surrounded by the eastern suburbs of Hobart. It is usually sheltered from southern ocean swells, although stormy weather can make the shoreline more exposed, and the beach offers views toward South Arm, Bruny Island, Sandy Bay and Mount Wellington. Multiple access points, parking, public toilets, showers, picnic areas, a playground and nearby cafes make it a practical place for walks, family outings and gentle water activities.
