Cressy Beach
Cressy Beach is a roughly 500-metre sandy beach in a small coastal reserve about five kilometres south of Swansea on Tasmania’s Great Eastern Drive. From the highway, a short sandy walking trail leads from a circular car park and picnic area to the shore. The long, pale beach is suited to walking and beachcombing, with views towards the Freycinet coast and seabirds over the water. The ocean can produce small but surfable waves, so visitors should judge swimming or surfing plans against the conditions on the day.
