Tiger Head Beach
- Family friendly
Tiger Head Beach is a small sandy beach at Dodges Ferry on Tasmania’s east coast, facing Tiger Head Bay. Its shallow foreshore, nearby parking, toilets, BBQs and playground make it a practical place for swimming, fishing and relaxed family time by the water. The bay often feels calm, but the wider area is close to tidal channels, so currents, wind and sea conditions can vary. The beach is best known for its simple local character rather than extensive resort development.
