Spiky Beach

Spiky Beach lies just south of Swansea on Tasmania’s east coast, reached by a short track from an unsealed car park. The approximately 100-metre sandy strand is framed by dark dolerite outcrops, she-oaks and eucalypts, while sea-worn rocks create small nooks and rock pools along the shore. It sits within Spiky Beach Coastal Reserve and makes a quiet stop for exploring the edge of the coast. Rocks and pools can make footing uneven, so take care near the water.
