Sommers Beach
- Family friendly
Sommers Beach, also presented locally as Sommers Bay Beach, is a narrow sandy shore near Murdunna on Tasmania’s Forestier Peninsula. It sits in a small U-shaped bay between Conical Hill and Point, with a shelly beach backed by ridged sand flats and a simple, natural setting. Sommers Beach Road provides access, and a council public car park is located by the boat-ramp area. Swimming and walks are listed local activities, but visitors should still assess wind, tide and water movement before entering.
