Sandpiper Beach
Sandpiper Beach is a long sandy Moreton Bay shoreline along Coast Road on Macleay Island, with a mapped beach line of about 2.33 kilometres. Redland City maps and foreshore planning records associate the beach with public recreational land around Coast Road Foreshore Park and improved access to the waterfront. It suits a low-key island outing focused on shoreline views, walking and water access. Facilities are limited, so visitors should come prepared and check the tide before entering the water.
