Home Beach

Home Beach on Minjerribah near Point Lookout is a sandy north-north-east-facing shoreline looking toward Shag Rock. Access is available at Adder Rock, from several beach tracks and below the Point Lookout Hotel headland. Changing sand bars make it interesting for walking and beach fishing, but the beach is not usually suited to surfing. Home Beach is unpatrolled; drift and rip currents can occur when waves become larger, so Cylinder Beach is the locally recommended option for safer swimming.
