Saltworks Beach

Saltworks Beach is a secluded sandy shore near Little Swanport, looking across Great Oyster Bay towards the Freycinet Peninsula. Its distinctive character comes from the Lisdillon Saltworks ruins, an early industrial heritage site set within the coastal reserve. Visitors can use the car park and boat ramp, with fishing and kayaking among the practical activities. The surrounding shore is also important habitat for shorebirds, so considerate access is appropriate.
