Orford Beach
Orford Beach is a sandy shore in Orford on Tasmania’s east coast, around the mouth of the Prosser River and Prosser Bay. The setting looks towards Maria Island and forms part of a local stretch known for swimming, walking and fishing. Nearby beaches are linked by a 2 km coastal walk, while the Raspins Beach area is also noted for birdwatching and picnic visits. Conditions can change along the coast, so swimmers should assess waves, currents and weather for themselves.
