Mitchells Beach
Mitchells Beach lies on the south-western side of Arm End, a natural sandy shore beside the Derwent estuary. It offers broad views toward Bruny Island and Kingston and is used for coastal walking and water activities. Access is through the public Arm End reserve, with limited parking at the end of Spitfarm Road and rough tracks leading toward the beach. During stormy weather, swell can travel up the Derwent River, so water activities should be approached with care.
