Mary Ellis Wreck Beach

Mary Ellis Wreck Beach lies at the head of Sleaford Bay within Lincoln National Park, where mobile sand dunes lead down to a flat surf beach. The beach takes its name from the Mary Ellis, wrecked here in 1907, and timber hull sections above the high-water mark add a distinctive maritime character. It is known for day visits and surfing, but strong surf and rip currents can occur, so water conditions deserve careful assessment.
