Cowrie Beach
Cowrie Beach is a sheltered sandy beach on the Whalers Way coast south of Port Lincoln, east of Cape Carnot and beneath cliffs about 50 metres high. Granite bedrock platforms, calcarenite cliffs and a rugged coastal setting define the surrounding landscape. Whalers Way is private land entered by permit, and its unsealed roads can be affected by weather, so visits require careful planning.
