Margate Beach
- Family friendly
Margate Beach sits on the Redcliffe Peninsula beside Moreton Bay, with golden sand and comparatively calm, sheltered water for an easy coastal break. A two-kilometre timber boardwalk follows the shoreline and suits walking, cycling and relaxed sightseeing. Barbecue areas, parking, picnic lawns and public toilets make the foreshore practical for a day visit, while the historic Scotts Point bathing pavilion adds character. Even in sheltered water, swimming conditions can change with wind and tide.
