Lagoon Beach
Lagoon Beach is a secluded sandy shoreline within Lime Bay State Reserve, lying in the lee of Sloping Island on the Tasman Peninsula. An easy walk of about 40 minutes from Lime Bay campground reaches the beach, passing coastal woodland, dunes and wetland habitat with views towards Sloping Island and kunanyi/Mount Wellington. Beach walking, beachcombing, rock-pool exploration and kayaking are natural ways to experience the area, although large swells can occur in exposed conditions.
