Kingston Beach
Kingston Beach is a settled sandy foreshore on the Derwent estuary south of Hobart, backed by Osborne Esplanade and a well-used beach promenade. The public precinct includes a playground, picnic space, toilets, nearby parking and an accessible beach ramp, while the boat ramp and kayak facilities support small-watercraft recreation. It suits swimming, walking and paddling in appropriate conditions, but visitors should keep clear of launching areas and consider local water and weather conditions.
