Hazards Beach
Hazards Beach is a long sandy shore on Tasmania’s Freycinet Peninsula, reached as part of the 11 km Wineglass Bay and Hazards Beach circuit. The walk crosses the isthmus from Wineglass Bay, then follows the beach beside she-oak woodland, granite country and views towards Great Oyster Bay. There are no facilities along the track; the nearest toilet is at the walking-track car park. The beach is unpatrolled, and the park authority notes steep granite, loose gravel and hazardous cliffs, so conditions and ability should be considered before setting out.
