Four Mile Beach
Four Mile Beach is a quiet sandy shore on Maria Island, within Maria Island National Park off Tasmania’s east coast. Reached from Darlington by walking or cycling, it combines turquoise water, open coastal scenery and the island’s wildlife-rich landscape. There is no vehicle access on Maria Island, so a visit to the beach naturally forms part of a longer island outing. The surrounding protected marine setting supports swimming and snorkelling, while the remote location calls for self-sufficient planning.
