Denison Beach
Denison Beach is a long white-sand shore on Tasmania’s east coast near the Douglas River. North of Bicheno, it offers a natural setting for shoreline walks, coastal views and picnics around the river-mouth area. Parking and beach access tracks are available near Denison River. The rivulet section is exposed to eastern and southern swells and can have several rips across the bar, so assess conditions carefully before swimming.
