Wa Ko Beach is a long, narrow strip of shore on Ao Wa Ko, about 12 km south of Prachuap Khiri Khan town, lined with casuarina trees. Behind it lies the King Mongkut Memorial Park of Science and Technology, which marks the place where King Rama IV observed the total solar eclipse of 18 August 1868; the Waghor Aquarium is also part of the park.
