About this beach
Ban Krut Beach is a quiet shoreline in Bang Saphan district that runs for about 12 km, with a beach road alongside and coconut and casuarina trees for shade. Small-scale fishing families live along the shore and sell fresh and processed seafood. At the northern end, Khao Thong Chai hill holds a large seated Buddha and the nine-spired Phra Mahathat Chedi Phakdi Prakat, with wide views over the bay.
