Tugun Beach

Tugun Beach is a long, relatively protected sandy beach on the southern Gold Coast and forms part of the World Surfing Reserve. The shoreline changes in character from north to south, with the Oceanway providing a popular route for walkers, runners and cyclists behind the beach. Nearby foreshore reserves offer shaded seating, picnic areas, barbecues, bike racks and public toilets. Swimming and surfing plans should take account of changing conditions along the beach.
