Surfers Paradise Beach

Surfers Paradise Beach is a roughly two-kilometre stretch of golden sand on the Gold Coast, framed by the city’s high-rise beachfront precinct. Signed paths cross the fenced fore-dune, while seating and barbecues face the ocean and nearby streets bring cafés, restaurants and markets within easy reach. It is an established swimming and surfing beach with three lifeguard towers, but the rolling surf means conditions should be assessed before entering the water. Permanent access ramps near Elkhorn Street, Cavill Avenue and Hanlan Street, plus beachfront toilets, improve accessibility.
