Shelley Beach

Shelley Beach is a broad white-sand shore in West Cape Howe National Park, west of Albany. Large granite boulders frame both ends of the beach beneath steep coastal hills, while the nearby lookout is a popular viewpoint and launch area for hang gliding and paragliding. As the only area of the park accessible by two-wheel-drive vehicles, Shelley Beach has a small campground, picnic facilities, parking and an accessible toilet. Fishing and surfing are established activities here, but strong rips make the beach unsuitable for swimming and it is not patrolled.
