Cheyne Beach
Cheyne Beach is a sandy natural shore about 68 kilometres east of Albany, also mapped as Cheynes Beach. The eastern end of Cheyne Road provides a public boat-launching ramp together with BBQ, picnic and toilet facilities. Although the beach is sheltered from south-westerly winds, local guidance warns that rough water makes it unsuitable for swimming. Some access areas are vehicle-oriented, with parts better suited to four-wheel drives, so assess both the track and sea conditions locally.
