Rainbow Bay Beach
- Family friendly
- Surf spot
Rainbow Bay Beach sits at the southern end of Coolangatta on one of the Gold Coast’s north-facing, relatively sheltered sandy shores. The adjoining parkland has shaded picnic tables, barbecues, toilets, beach showers and a playground, while the Oceanway walking and cycling path follows the coast. Nearby Snapper Rocks and the Superbank are established surf territory, with stronger waves suited to experienced surfers; conditions can still change.
