One Mile Beach

One Mile Beach is a long sandy surf beach beside Tomaree National Park, between Boat Harbour and Nelson Bay in Port Stephens. Access is via Hannah Parade, with parking, shady picnic areas, public toilets, cold beach showers, drinking water and a seasonal kiosk nearby. White sand, dunes and an open coastal setting make it appealing to families and surfers. Waves and rip currents can strengthen, so visitors should check beach signs and sea conditions before entering the water.
