Flynns Beach

Flynns Beach is a roughly 500-metre sandy shoreline set between rocky headlands about three kilometres south of Port Macquarie. Its relative shelter from westerly and southerly winds makes it a well-established place for learning to surf through much of the year. The adjoining reserve provides picnic tables, a barbecue, stairs to the beach, toilets and showers, while a kiosk operates beneath the surf club. It also forms part of the Port Macquarie Coastal Walk and is a practical choice for a family beach day, although swimmers should still assess the conditions on arrival.
