Nanarup Beach

Nanarup Beach is a long white-sand beach east of Albany, set beside Taylor Inlet and a largely natural coastal landscape. The eastern end is known for surfing and four-wheel-drive access, while a walk toward the western end reaches a more sheltered lagoon among distinctive rock formations. Visitors have access to parking, picnic and barbecue facilities, a stairway or boardwalk approach and toilets. The beach is unpatrolled, so surf and shoreline conditions should be assessed on arrival.
