Misery Beach
Misery Beach is a small, north-facing cove in Torndirrup National Park near Albany, sheltered by large granite outcrops. Its sandy shore is used for swimming, snorkelling, fishing and, in suitable conditions, surfing. The parking area is gravel and has no marked bays, giving the visit a simple, natural feel. Strong undertow has been reported and the beach is not patrolled, so swimming is best considered only by experienced swimmers after assessing the conditions.
