Main Beach

Main Beach is a long sandy ocean beach north of Surfers Paradise, extending towards The Spit on the Gold Coast. Its broad shoreline suits sunrise walks, time on the sand, swimming in appropriate conditions and surfing when the waves allow. Foreshore parklands provide shade, barbecues, beach showers and public toilets, while cafés and restaurants are available nearby. As an exposed coast, conditions can vary with waves, rips and tides, so visitors should use signed areas and follow local beach guidance.
