Kurrawa Beach
- Family friendly
- Surf spot
Kurrawa Beach forms part of Broadbeach’s lively oceanfront precinct, where a broad sandy shore meets wide dunes planted with native she-oak and macaranga trees. The adjoining parkland provides playgrounds, shaded picnic areas, tables, barbecues, beach showers and public toilets, while the Oceanway supports walks and bike rides. Broadbeach Mall is close by for cafés and alfresco dining. Rips, channels and troughs can occur in the water, so swim only between the red and yellow flags and assess surf conditions as swell, wind, tide and sandbars change.
