Kirra Beach
- Family friendly
- Surf spot
Kirra Beach is a broad, flat sandy beach on the southern Gold Coast, known for its turquoise water, open coastal views and Kirra Point headland. The foreshore supports swimming, walking and cycling, with public parking, toilets, family-friendly facilities and nearby cafes or dining. Kirra is also one of Australia’s best-known surf locations, shaped by a right-hand sand-bottom point break. Large south-eastern swells can produce faster, more powerful waves, so visitors should assess conditions before entering the water.
