Gnarabup Beach

Gnarabup Beach is a sandy, roughly 1.6-kilometre shoreline near Prevelly in Western Australia’s Margaret River region, running from the southern headland toward Surfers Point. Reefs offshore usually make the beach’s waves smaller than at some nearby coast, but the seabed drops steeply and large rips can occur, so children should not be left unattended. Dune walking trails, headland lookouts and beach access make it easy to explore, while the public boat ramp reaches the Indian Ocean. A café is south of the ramp, with toilets, showers and a car park close by; swimming, fishing, surfing and general coastal recreation are common uses.
