Flinders Bay

Flinders Bay lies just south of Augusta, near the mouth of the Blackwood River, in an east-facing and relatively sheltered embayment with sandy shoreline. The calm lagoon has a small jetty with steps into shallow water, and the beach is used for swimming, lap swimming and stand-up paddleboarding. Its grassed foreshore includes a playground, swings, BBQs, picnic tables, seating and public toilets, with a coastal walking path linking the bay to Augusta Boat Harbour. The sheltered setting is appealing for families, but swimmers should still assess conditions at the time of entry.
