About this beach
Buelna is a small natural cove shaped like a channel near Llanes, with a sand strip about 50 m long and 20 m wide. The surrounding landscape is full of karst formations, with a limestone pinnacle called “El Picón” standing out. It is popular with families, and the shore has no built facilities. Swell is moderate.
