Yokinup Bay
Yokinup Bay is a long, secluded sandy shoreline beside Thomas River in Cape Arid National Park, stretching for almost 25 kilometres along the bay. Access begins via the roughly 15-kilometre unsealed Tagon Road; at low tide, experienced four-wheel-drive users can travel along the beach, subject to river levels and beach conditions. Two campgrounds sit on the bay, while fishing, bushwalking, whale watching and coastal exploration are key reasons to visit. The exposed coast can have strong currents, so swimming deserves caution, and there are no toilets at this location.
