Munglinup Beach
- Family friendly
Munglinup Beach lies about 130 kilometres west of Esperance, near the small settlement of Munglinup, and has a sandy, lightly developed south-coast setting. An offshore reef forms a broad lagoon that can offer more sheltered swimming and snorkelling, while the Oldfield Estuary side suits kayaking, SUP, small-boat launching and fishing. The beach is reached by a seven-kilometre gravel road generally accessible to 2WD vehicles, with a nearby campground and toilets but few other services. Wind, waves and currents around the reef can vary, so assess local conditions before swimming and plan for the remote setting.
